Deep water-repellent and anti-rising sealer for natural stones, water-based, “LEADER” certified by SGBC. HIDRO SST is a high-quality water-resistant treatment that allows to protect natural stones from water and all the effects of rising humidity. It is characterized by a water-based formula and the absence of volatile organic compounds (V.O.C. Free), therefore its use is not dangerous either for the environment or for people's health, both during and after its application. The peculiar characteristic of HIDRO SST is that it penetrates deeply into natural stones, ensuring strong and long-lasting protection. The product does not create a surface film, maintaining the original breathability of the surface unaltered. The treated material maintains its original appearance even if sensitive to color changes when treated. The high water-repellent capacity allows for a drastic reduction of the water and resources related to the sanding and maintenance processes. HIDRO SST is a product characterized by good water-repellent properties and good resistance to rising humidity, which is responsible for most of the problems generally found on natural stones: persistent humidity stains, rust formation, rising yellow stains, exfoliation or superficial detachment of the material (pitting) and saline efflorescence. In addition to providing water-repellent and anti-rising properties, HIDRO SST helps to increase the resistance of the natural material to dirt and foot traffic, facilitating its maintenance. It represents a definitive solution as it is resistant to the action of heavy-duty cleaners and to sanding given its ability to penetrate into the thickness of the material. HIDRO SST is also certified safe for use on surfaces in contact with food and therefore represents a valid solution for the protection of kitchen worktops
