zintek® flashing

Flashing and Sheet Metal

The natural look of zintek® is glossy grey lamination, smooth and shiny. Under the action of weathering the surface covers itself with a protective layer that remains stable over time and gives it a natural aging, with a pleasant grey slate appearance. The natural appearance of the laminate can be varied thanks to special surface treatments without altering the corrosion resistance prerogatives. The laminates with surface treatment are referred to as preweathered. Contrary to other materials zintek® requires no maintenance. zintek® products must be transported in special covered vehicles ensuring a dry and ventilated space. The same applies to loading and unloading, which must always take place in a dry, ventilated, and covered place. Stockpiles must be kept dry, and outdoor storage is to be avoided. Directly covering the coils or profiles should be avoided if there are no spaces between one aerated product and another. It is necessary to prevent condensation from forming below the dew point in the warehouse.
